Association of Model Railway Clubs Wales & West of England

An American ‘HO’ scale diesel switching layout incorporating a variety of different industries. These industries require different freight cars to meet their shipping requirements. These include a fish processing plant, flour mill, engineering plant and a large timber yard. 

 There is also a small loco maintenance depot which also provides a refuelling area and allows the locos to be parked up awaiting their next turn of duty.

 The layout is DCC controlled using the Digitrax system allowing the use of some sound locos. We use these sparingly being mindful that they are not to everyone's liking.
