IN MEMORIAM
The Association wish to report the sad News that one of our Vice Presidents Dave Baverstock and a long standing member of the Association passed away peacefully on 24th July 2024 in his Model Railway Room our condolences go to his family. There will be a thanksgiving service for David on the 18th September at 1pm at Horfield Methodist Church, Bristol.
For those also unaware, we also lost another member of the team back on the 17th December 2023.
Nigel Mann who was the Guest Layout co-ordinator and previously the Chief Steward passed away peacefully.
ASSOCIATION CHANGES
Heather Hatch who is the Hon.Secretary and had taken over as Chief Steward is also now arranging the Guest Layouts for the show. So if you have had an invite for a future show, please contact Heather. This can be done via email using the below email address.
OTHER NEWS
The Association has recently been contacted by Ross McWilliam who's father John McWilliam was involved with the Association when it first started. Ross has recently been converting a lot of old films he took to digital and came across two of the Bristol show. One in 1973 and one in 1989.
The first is of poor quality but the second is very good.
