WesloSteels

‘EM’ - GUEST

The layout represents a very small steel terminal somewhere in West London (hence WESt LOndon STEELS), in effect a couple of sidings acting as a railhead for steel for the west side of the capital mainly handling reinforcing bar for concrete construction with occasional coil traffic too. I like the idea of having a few of those more unusual vac-fitted steel carrying wagons that were floating about in the mid to late seventies. Traffic will be worked by 08s (I also like the idea of that black 08 with TOPS numbers which ran until about 1975) from Acton yard in trip workings.
