Association of Model Railway Clubs Wales & West of England

The Layout depicts a GW or WR rural cross country through station set nowhere in particular. The station sees regular passenger services and goods traffic. Freight consists of local rural community traffic, plus additional traffic for the areas major employer Merryfield engineering.

To add interest the layout is set in the period 1948 to early 1960's so depending on the period in operation you can see a variety of locomotives and rolling stock, from ex GWR steam through to new diesel locomotives and diesel multiple units.
