The layout is based on the climb out of Weymouth through Upweyand Bincombe tunnel. It is set in 1960 and features typicalSouthern and Western steam stock of the period. A few diesels arebeginning to appear.The station has a goods yard and small shed to service theAbbotsbury branch which is obviously much more successful inmodel form than it was in real life!
The layout is modelled in 00 - 4mm.
It is 36 feet by 6 feet including operator space.
We aim to keep a steady stream of trains on the mainline with
additional activity on the branch and in the yard.
